If you landed here looking for diis.net or the Anheiser Busch’s “Real Men of Genius” radio spots, then I’m sorry to tell you that they’re no longer here. As of right now, diis.net is no longer offering downloads of the ever popular (almost viral) radio commercials.

And quickly, no, this had nothing to do with any requests from the Anheiser Busch folks, DCMA filings or anything of that nature.

This site was my pet project for many years but I haven’t been able to keep up with it, and the volume of traffic has heavily decreased over the years due to sites like Youtube growing by leaps and bounds in popularity. For a while using Google Adsense I was able to offset some of the operational costs of keeping a dedicated server running, but as the traffic slowed so did the revenue and for now I’m mothballing the site. And no, I’m not selling any of the associated domains, I’m hoping to bring it back some day.

I still have all the mp3′s that were posted to the site on my home machine, so if you’re looking for something that used to be available (I should probably make a list and post it here) feel free to send me an email and I’ll shoot you the spot, look below for the address. If you’re looking for just the background music I don’t have that available in any usable (sound quality-wise) format.

So, having said that, it’s been a blast and I’ve enjoyed immensely corresponding with everyone who helped to make the site what it was. You can send hate mail to jgs@diis.net if you like.
